More than 200 safety events were organised on 11 February to enlighten citizens on how to be active and responsible when faced with day-to-day situations of danger. The 112 Day national working group extends heartfelt thanks to all the campaign participants. The nationwide day of education has increased safety in our country and produced new Everyday Heroes.
This is already the fourteenth year that 112 Day has been held in Finland. The theme for this most important and visible campaign of cooperation run by the public safety authorities was to enlighten the nation’s citizens about the proper use of the emergency number, about the common European emergency number itself, and about safety in everyday life.
